How to Read This Book

Do not read this book straight through from beginning to end. It is not that kind of book.

You are the main character. Read until you reach a choice, then tap or click the one you want and keep going. Every path leads somewhere different, and some of them end. When you meet an ending, you can come back and choose again.

How to Listen

You are a Nevada Teen

You are the last passenger on the 2 a.m. desert bus out of a nowhere Nevada town when a light with no source floods the highway, the engine dies, and you are taken — politely, impossibly — aboard a vessel whose courteous, unreadable crew insists you are a guest, not a captive.
